Pool Parties and Rentals
Whether it’s a birthday party or a family reunion, members can host a party while the pool is open during operating hours or rent the entire pool for a private party after closing. Reservations are first-come, first-served. Read the details below to learn more.
When you’re ready to book your party, send an email to Rentals.DevonManorPool@gmail.com to work with our manager to secure a date.
PARTY RULES
Members can rent a pavilion for $50 for no more than 2 hours. Payment will be collected at the time of scheduling. Non-member guests - swimmers and non-swimmers - are $10 each.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not permitted.
No glass containers are allowed.
Members must ensure guests know the rules of the pool, including use of the dives and slides. Guests 6 and under and those who cannot swim by themselves are not allowed on dives or slides.
The party host will inform the manager of a guest’s special needs, disability, or handicap. Guests are required to fill out a waiver in the office and receive a wristband before being permitted in the pool.
A form must be filled out with each child’s name, age, and responsible adult supervisors' names. Those adults must be on the pool deck while the children are in the pool.
At the end of the event, the member must ensure the pavilion and areas used by guests are clean of debris and trash.
All participants must exit the pavilion at the end of 2 hours. For evening parties, the event will end at 7:45 p.m. to ensure staff can clean up and lock the gates at 8 p.m.
An additional $25 will be assessed every 15 minutes after the 8 p.m. closing, or if the pavilion is not left free of trash.
Members may hold a second party no less than three weeks after the date of their first party.
AFTER-HOURS PRIVATE PARTIES
The pool is available for rent for private parties on Friday or Saturday evenings from 8 p.m.-10 p.m.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not permitted.
No glass containers are allowed.
The cost is $300. A manager will be provided for the event. Cost of lifeguards is $20.00 per hour per lifeguard. The manager will determine the number of lifeguards needed based upon the size of party, including swimmers and nonswimmers.
A deposit of $50 is due at the time of booking along with an estimate of the number of guests.
Payment of the $300 event fee is due before the party starts. An additional $50 will be charged if the host and guests do not leave promptly to ensure staff can close and lock the gates at 10 p.m., or if the facilities and property are not clean, damage-free, and returned to their original state. In the event of a cancellation, the $50 deposit will be returned if at least 24 hours’ notice is given before the event's scheduled start.
Once a party starts at the scheduled time, no refund will be provided. This includes instances of bad weather.
Lifeguards will blow the final whistle at 9:45 p.m. to allow time for changing and cleanup in order to lock the gates promptly at 10 p.m. At this time, party hosts should ensure trash and debris is cleaned up and the grounds is left in the original state
These rules also apply to before-hours parties that are held only during August. Events are for 2 hours with parties ending no later than 11:45 a.m. for staff to clean and prepare for the noon opening. All attendees must exit the facility before noon. Those who are members or paying guests of a member must exit the facility and reenter to check in or pay at noon.
